The Catalyst Recruiting Group www.catgroupinc.com is assisting a progressive international utility contracting firm in their search for a Business Development Manager for the east coast. This position will be responsible for new business development for diversified lines of utility construction including telecommunications, gas & water, general construction and power. There will also be a focus Renewable Energy business, including Wind and Solar projects. This is a tactical position that will develop details of lead sources, key contact focus, and activity schedules. Detailed research of potential customer organizations will also be a major function of this position. Although sales-calls and initial individual sales meetings will be the primary tool for interfacing with potential customers, when necessary, this position may accompany other sales or operations personnel on customer site visits.

ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED: 4 year degree. 10+ years proven sales/marketing experience in an outside sales role. Must have B2B Business Development experience. Must experience in the construction industry. Experience in renewable energy a plus. Mid-Atlantic candidates will be preferred.
