The Catalyst Recruiting Group www.catgroupinc.com is looking for a sales professional with 5+ years in industrial sales and some experience with rotating equipment, primarily motors, AC drives, servo motors and gearboxes for new product sales. This is not a “service”sales role. It is critical that a candidate demonstrate thorough fact finding skills and the ability to articulate and manage a consultative sales process. This process involves the ability to complete well written technical proposals and presentations to industrial clients. This is a true “outside sales” position that will rely on lead generation, new client development and a “door knocking” sales approach.

ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED: Technical savvy and an understanding of industrial electrical motor lines (or a similar industrial, electric line) with a preference (though not required) towards an engineering degree.  The ability to answer the following questions: Where have you developed business where it hasn’t existed previously? Can you qualify your sales approach and qualify the results? Have you set your own appointments, generated your own leads and closed sales autonomously?  How many years experience do you have working with electric motors?
